Marijuana Facility Fire Code Violations Denver Colorado

I met with Denver Fire Inspector, Mark Rudolph, today in regards to several of my clients in the mmj industry having fire code violation issues, particularly with MIPs. Mark wanted me to convey that he is deeply concerned that licensees are assuming they can conduct various activities, such as BHO production or even basic infused product creation, based solely on their state licenses and approval of Excise and Licensing. The Denver Fire and of course Building, Zoning, Electrical, etc Departments still need to give you all additional approvals before you are fully legal. As I mentioned, I've had several clients have significant Fire Code violations issues that may rise to the level of endangering their state permits. If you haven't already, feel free to contact Mark at 720-913-3512 to discuss your operation. He is a very friendly guy and has said he is committed to helping the industry understand their obligations under the Fire Code. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Thanks,
