Denver City Council Ordinance Public Consumption Of Marijuana

Attached see the current version of the new Denver City Council ordinance on the public consumption of marijuana. The original version of the bill was very bad and would have banned smoking in your own backyard. This newest version is much better and allows for consumption on property, including outside, that you own or lease. Your guests can also smoke pot on your own property outside if they have your permission. This new version only makes it a civil fine, which is much better than the original version that made it a criminal offense. Please continue to follow this and consider giving input. I still think the fines are too high for this. Also, it completely prohibits even "display" on the 16th St. Mall, which means passing a joint on the mall would be an offense.
